Since launch in 2013, Rockstar Games have regularly released content updates for GTA Online. All DLC to date has been free of charge and generally adds new cars, guns, clothing and jobs or other gameplay modes. Each update often relates to a specific theme (e.g. business or a seasonal holiday) and the content reflects this theme.

Due to the limitations of older software, the more recent updates only tend to release on next-generation consoles and PC. The content is also exclusive to GTA Online and can't be accessed in GTA V story mode.

Bombushka Run Adversary Mode and RM-10 Bombushka Plane

Details: Put your piloting proficiency to the test in Bombushka Run, the latest mode to hit GTA Online. Two teams of up to four square off, with one side piloting the heavily armed Bombushka as the other attempts to bring this beast down with a swarm of Buzzard Attack Helicopters. Teams then switch sides, and whichever one survives the longest while piloting the Bombushka scores the victory. It’s the classic game of cat and mouse, except the mouse is an enormous Cold War bomber bristling with .50 Cal Turrets and the cats get armed copters.

There’s no such thing as having too much firepower at your disposal, and here to help you obliterate your adversaries is the mother of all aerial assault vehicles - the RM-10 Bombushka. This beauty has been setting trends and breaking records ever since it rolled off the production line three decades ago, so if you want to ooze class and rocket fuel all at the same time, your number just came up. Dawn Raid Adversary Mode and Dewbauchee Vagner

Two teams of up to six parachute into a combat zone in search of a transmitter hidden inside of a package. Your objective is to find it and transport it to the evacuation zone. But be careful, using Trackify makes you vulnerable to enemy fire.

Details: Dominate the illegal arms trade in Southern San Andreas with Gunrunning, the latest update to Grand Theft Auto: Online. Your career as a prolific arms dealer begins with the acquisition of a Bunker. These underground fortresses serve as your base of operations for all Gunrunning activities, and each one is equipped with a computer terminal to tap into the Disruption Logistics network.

Start a Setup mission as a CEO, MC President or a VIP to source supplies, then assign your employees to manufacturing weapons, researching upgrades or split their time between the two. Your stock will grow over time (and more quickly with Staff upgrades) and when ready, reap the profits from your business by moving your merchandise to interested buyers across Los Santos and Blaine County. To ease the entry into this underground network for new would-be entrepreneurs, the required collateral to register as a VIP has been lowered to a $50,000 minimum Maze Bank balance.

Details: Reminisce about the good old days while you hysterically race to avoid bursting into flames in Tiny Racers, the new retro-styled Adversary Mode in GTA Online.

Tiny Racers channels the spirit of classic GTA titles with a shifting, bird’s-eye perspective designed to bring you a new flavor of vehicle combat. Up to four players can duke it out for the top spot across seven new courses with just one rule: Don’t blow up. Fall too far behind first place and your tiny car goes boom.

Scattered across the track are various power-ups ranging from Rockets and Bombs to light-wielding Shotaros and Special Vehicles. Making good use of these power-ups is key to closing the distance and avoiding a fiery doom.

Details: Nothing says ‘team building exercise’ like bringing your buddy back into the game by shooting some opposing chump in the back of the head. But that means there’s only one way to get ahead in the new Resurrection Adversary Mode: until you’ve wiped them out, they can always come back.

The Stunt Race Creator features newly refined tools, allowing you to quickly snap and stack objects together, make branching tracks with split checkpoints, and so much more. Use Raised Tracks, Tubes, Loops and more to make massive ascents and breakneck plummets. With over 250 new Stunt Props now at your disposal, tracks can spiral through the skyscrapers of the Los Santos Skyline, dive through bridges and summit Mount Chiliad. Stunt Races utilize ramps, loops, wall rides, tubes, raised tracks and dynamic objects for a radically new take on GTA Online racing.

Power Play Adversary Mode

Details: Now Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the Power Play Adversary Mode. Power-Ups change the rules of urban warfare - giving players the chance to boost themselves and their allies with special abilities, or even screw with their opponents in pursuit of ultimate victory.
The effects of these six power-ups are temporary and will need to be timed wisely. Each player can use one power up at a time, but layers of strategy exist through stacking power-ups with other teammates, or triggering power-ups to counteract enemy team advantages. Details: Rhino Hunt - a brand new GTA Online Adversary Mode - is now available in-game. This is a battle of the nimble and numerous against the mighty but few, as a team of Sticky Bomb-wielding Hunters in dune buggies and other vehicles seek to take down one or two of the biggest and most elusive game in Southern San Andreas. Rhino drivers must utilize the sheer strength and firepower of their tank to survive against the onslaught of Sticky Bombs thrown in their direction.
You can play this new Adversary Mode in three different locations (selectable via the Adversary Modes section of the GTA Online pause menus) or launch a Playlist featuring three locales by hitting the button when prompted on the GTAV launch screens.

Till Death Do Us Part Adversary Mode

Details: Till Death Do Us Part - a brand new GTA Online Adversary Mode - is now available to play. Up to four pairs of star-crossed lovers take part in the ultimate GTA Online quadruple date: each couple has one life between them, and if one half dies, the survivor then takes their own life in dramatic fashion. Additionally, you'll get Health regeneration bonuses when you stay close to your partner, so get cozy.

You can play the new Adversary Mode in five different romantic locations (easily selectable via the Adversary Modes section of the GTA Online pause menus) or jump in to a Featured Playlist with a trio of locations by hitting the button on the GTAV launch screens.

Drop Zone Adversary Mode

Details: With four teams and up to 16 players zeroed in on the target area, this mode is fast, chaotic and prone to huge swings in fortune. First team to hold the drop zone for a total of two non-continuous minutes wins. There are five Drop Zone maps, each requiring a unique approach to deal with changes in terrain and cover. These can be found at Pillbox Hill, Richman College, Elysian Island, the Mirror Park cul-de-sac and the Sisyphus Theater.

Benny is branching out with new upgrade types for two new Sports cars. Players can pick up the Karin Sultan and Bravado Banshee at a low entry price in the updated Stock section of bennysoriginalmotorworks.com.

Festive Surprise 2015

Details: It's the most wonderful time of the year! Celebrate the holiday season in Los Santos now until January 5th with the Festive Surprise 2015 for GTA Online. This year's holiday treats feature a whole new collection of free seasonally appropriate clothes and accessories for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Including New Santa Outfits, Christmas Trees, Christmas Themed Masks and Car Horns!

Also, all festive attire from years past will be available during the holiday period for all platforms including original Masks and Clothes from both last year's Festive Surprise and the original 2013 Holiday Gifts. Details: Two bullets. One life. No mercy. The assemblage of GTA Online Adversary Modes for PS4, Xbox One and PC grows stronger today with the release of the brand new Every Bullet Counts - an intense Last Man Standing variant with a unique twist to keep you on your toes and constantly on your guard.

With no safe place to hide, four players go up against each other in a confined space with a very limited arsenal, just one Marksman Pistol and two bullets to take out three opponents. Once you've exhausted your ammo, you'll need to resort to crafty melee attacks with your Hatchet or Machete to make it out alive.

Running Back Adversary Mode

Details: Two teams (a total of 4-8 players) square off from opposing sides of a roadway. The elusive Runner, behind the wheel of a Benefactor Panto, must go the distance and get across the end zone line at the far end of the highway with the help of their offensive teammates in BF Biftas. Meanwhile, their defensive-minded opponents (also in Biftas) must ruthlessly block, crash and pummel their way to try to stop them.

This new mode is available at three different locations: Raton Canyon Bridge, La Mesa Bridge and Zancudo Tunnel.
